Lia Metz has recently moved back to the Bay Area, after finishing up a 6 month stint, both choreographing and performing at the Sierra Repertory Theatre. Lia graduated from the Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts (PCPA) in 2002. A two-time Aubrey Award winner, Lia has begun to turn her focus on to Directing and Choreographing. She has also performed at venues such as the San Diego Civic Light Opera (Starlight), Moonlight, CCT, La Jolla Stage Company, and many others. As well as flexing her acting, singing and dancing muscles, Lia has also stage managed, run light/sound boards, and worked crew for several award-winning productions. Formerly serving on the Board of Directors at Scripps Ranch Theatre, Lia is a Professional Member of both the Actor's Alliance of San Diego and Theatre Bay Area, and a former Dance Instructor at Applauz Theatre. Lia designed props and Assistant Stage Managed "Franz Kafka's Love Life" at the Brookside Repertory Theatre, and most recently stage managed "The Bay Area Follies" (rental) at Berkeley Rep.
